Surrounded by rich and plentiful nature and boasting views of the majestic
Mt. Fuji, the popular resort town of Fujikawaguchiko in Yamanashi Prefecture is located at the northern foothills of Mt. Fuji and wraps around the shores of Lake Kawaguchi.
In the summer of 2022, a new commercial facility opened in this area, which attracts visitors from both Japan and abroad.

At this “travel” hub where you can feel at peace in harmony with the rich and plentiful nature of Fujikawaguchiko, our goal was to create an environmentally friendly landscape that looks ahead 10 to 20 years into the future. The planted trees will grow year by year, transforming Kawaguchiko Base into a place that boasts clusters of trees and buildings in the middle of a forest. The unique experience of this place will grow as if creating a healing effect in concert with the surrounding mountain range.

Take the Chuo Line from Shinjuku Station. Change to the Fujikyuko Line at Otsuki Station and get off at Kawaguchiko Station. Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko Station.
■ Visitors using the Chuo Expressway

Board the highway bus from Shinjuku Bus Terminal and get off at Kawaguchiko.
Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko Station.

【If you are arriving from Kawaguchiko Station】Approximately 10 minutes by taxi from Kawaguchiko Station. Alternatively, take the Retro Bus (RED LINE) from Kawaguchiko Station to "15. Music Forest Museum/Hotori no Hotel Ban" bus stop and then walk for 10 minutes.
■ Visitors arriving by car

Take the Chuo Expressway from Tokyo and get off at Kawaguchiko I.C. → Cross the Kawaguchiko Ohashi Bridge → Go straight along Route 137 for approximately 5 minutes.
